There are two ferry companies that provide service to Mackinac Island: Shepler's Mackinac Island Ferry and Arnold Transit Company. Both depart from Mackinaw City and St. Ignace, with frequent departures throughout the day during peak season. If you're staying south of the bridge, Mackinaw City is typically the most convenient departure point. If you're coming from Michigan's Upper Peninsula, St. Ignace is the closest option. We recommend booking your tickets in advance, especially for busy summer weekends. More information regarding transportation can be found on the Travel page!

We recommend staying on Mackinac Island to make the most of the wedding weekend! Room Blocks will be available at both the Grand Hotel and the Bicycle Street Inn. Our wedding will be Black Tie attire. We invite our guests to dress in formal evening wear—tuxedos or dark formal suits for gentlemen, and floor-length gowns or elegant formal dresses for ladies. Since many of our wedding events will take place at the Grand Hotel, please review the additional dress code information provided on the Travel page to ensure you're prepared for the hotel's evening attire requirements.

Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests specifically listed on your Save the Date and Invitation. If a plus one has been reserved for you, it will be indicated on your Save the Date. Likewise, any children invited to celebrate with us will also be listed. We truly appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!
